Satisfaction

A thorny fence, not the traditional place for a romantic rendezvous, but this particular one marked a place with special meaning to Sandra.

She gazed up beyond his rugged face at the beautiful azure sky and felt a certain contentment.

Happiness, the best form of revenge.

Tom, tall, broad and rugged: the archetypal farmer.  So different from her deceitful, unprincipled, businessman husband.  What would he say if he knew?

She stifled a giggle as the thought entered her head; cold, dead, cheating husband deep beneath her and current, hot, devoted lover above her.

Her smile was one of deep satisfaction.

Women who…actually we don’t know if she killed him, but she sure as hell knows who did. Loved the way you phrased the lines towards the end. Well done.

Wow! She’s painted in the depest hues – black through and through. Wonder if the lover knows where they are, whose company they keep? Great, Gothic stuff with a hint of Noir and Femme Fatale

Whoa, she knows how to take her revenge. Let’s hope hubby is buried deep enough not to be found when the farmer ploughs his field.
