If You Can’t Do The Time…

The heat and dust were overwhelming.  Jasmine slipped into an alleyway to the relief of the cool shade.  Drifting from the garden beyond the wall was a strong perfume of roses.  Alexandre was waiting impatiently.

“Take this.  Hide it in your suitcase and deliver as agreed.  Here is half up front, the rest when delivery is confirmed.”

Jasmine stuffed the cash and drugs into her bag and they left in opposite directions.


In Departures Jasmine was arrested by two gorilla-like policemen who man-handled her roughly displaying their contempt.

Convicted, she faced a life of hell in a foreign prison.
